My favorite place to buy meat! Well stocked little store with most of the nessecities (like Shiner Bock & Blue Bell) and some delicious specialty items (like real saurkraut and pickled quail eggs). I love the peppered smoked bacon, jalapeno & cheese sausages, all the great steaks and chops.
Me and my Dad have been hunting in Llano for the last 10 years. Every time we have taken our deer into Miller's we have been treated with the up most respect and curtousy. Every time we have gotten our orders from them the staff has been extremely helpful and have been very perfessional and have always gotten our orders on the due date or before and the quality of our orders has been absolutely top notch !!
Good old fashioned meat market. I love the person to person interactions with the store personnel sadly lacking at big box grocers. The meat is extra fresh since they process in the back of the store.
Have taken my deer there for 25 years. Great venison sausage made there.
RANCID MEAT! I picked up my wild game this last Sunday. When I got it home I thawed out 2 packages of the pork chops and one package of the sausage. We opened the package of pork chops after they thawed out, They stunk so bad. So we threw them out of the house. My wife reluctantly cooked some of the sausage. It was fine. I called Miller's to ask a few questions why the meat stunk. Mr. Brian Miller called me back and said my meat smelled because of something the animal ate. I told him the sausage was fine. He said it smelled okay because of the spices added to the meat. I told him no amount of spices would cover up rancid! He would NOT refund any portion of my money. So I got stuck with $170 worth of a product we can't eat. NEVER DO BUSINESS HERE! They will not stand behind their product. He thinks people are stupid. I have been hunting for 35 years. I know how to properly clean and keep an animal fresh for processing. The meat I received was not my animal and it was horrible. He told me the animal I brought in is the animal I got back. BULL CRAP! Sorry Mr.Miller, you lost me and everyone I can tell as a customer.
