If you just need a pet licenses and rabies shots then this is the place to go. Otherwise if you have an emergency please think about taking your animals elsewhere. I'm retired veteran with a limited monthly income and my dog recently needed an emergency surgery I ask the vet if I could pay it out and I was told no that they didn't run a business that way. Luckily for me the military takes care of its own I recently learned that if you are retired and receive medical benefits from the military your pets are also entitled to see an army or airforce or navy or Coast Guard vet. Dr. Jenkins is a very good vet his scheduling assistant on the other hand needs to learn how to actually deal with people.
A wonderful Vet.. BJ is great too.. Dr. Jenkins takes care of my horses and always takes his time to explain to us exactly what's going on. I would referr anyone that needed a vet to him.
Dr. Jenkins is wonderful! I took my yorkie to see him because she had what I think was a seizure and didn't recover quickly. I live in Austin and I called my usual vet who said they couldn't see me for 2 days! They said "call us back on Saturday and we will see if we can fit you in." My pets are my babies and there was no way my yorkie could wait 2 days to see someone. She was panting, lethargic, and wouldn't eat. Dr. Jenkins was recommended to me by a co-worker so even though it was an hour and 15 minutes to his office, I was willing to make the drive because he personally called me back Thursday afternoon and saw us first thing the next morning. My yorkie is recovering and we are now making the switch to Dr. Jenkins for all our pets. Thank you Dr. Jenkins!!!
