To summarize, Inman’s is a place to go eat for those days when you just want great food in your belly, a cold beer (or Big Red!) in hand, sitting in the AC relaxed listening to country music.
The atmosphere is great, as well. You feel relaxed & at ease as you eat your brisket while listening to country music in the background - both dimly lit & well lit areas so you may sit where you feel most comfortable. It’s spacious, so you don’t feel cramped or self conscious as you eat your food, even when the place is full.
Hoping to avoid breaking your bank paying for BBQ in Llano? Go here. The price is right for the locale and the food is just as good as Cooper's, in some cases better, like the sausages.
Being a technician, I travel all over the highland lakes area and drop in to nearly every BBQ joint when lunch time rolls around. Inman’s is exceptional - their brisket is the best in Burnet & Llano county. Their service, as well, is exceptional. Very friendly & goes out of their way to ensure you are satisfied.
Horrible bbq. Had to ask for my money back. I questioned if they really smoke the brisket for there was no type of smoke ring. They said yes. If they do have a smoker it must have been broken, for it really appeared to have been baked.
The cut of meat was the wet end and I have to question if the owner would actually eat what he severs.
Then, of course, their pie is just exquisite. It’s next to impossible to go to Inman’s Kitchen & not purchase one of their delicious pies. In addition, they have a great selection of ice cold beer, which was a nice addition to their already-robust selection of food.
The service was good. The brisket was good. The beans were great. The sauce was not that good to me. I am rating this excluding not liking the sauce. You can give it a try yourself maybe you like their style sauce.
This place is a must when you visit or pass through Llano! The turkey sausage is amazing, as promised, and the brisket is some of the best I have had. Don't forget to try the potato salad, as your side.
Perhaps, best of all, they carry Big Red. I cannot tell you have many BBQ joints don’t have Big Red. Very thankful they carry it.
I asked for two meats. Sausage and brisket. There was one piece of brisket, cheapskates. But actually after tasting it I was thankful.
